We used this for our outdoor Christmas decorations. It's a lot easier to configure than most other timers we've used before, and the remote made it so we didn't have to go outside to change it.

I got this timer for my backyard fountain and light, and so far, it's worked well for that purpose. It handles the dusk-to-dawn transition smoothly, making sure everything lights up when it gets dark. The dual outlets are convenient for managing both my fountain and light. The digital display is clear for setting times, though it might take a bit to get used to. It hasn't had to stand the test of time yet, so we'll see how durable it is in the long run.

I am using the Outdoor Light Timer from the HAPTHDA Store to regulate the lighting of my string lights year round and for Christmas lights during the holidays. I like all the features this timer has. Not only can you have lights come on at dusk and off at dawn, you can control the amount of time the lights stay on after the dusk function kicks in.I appreciate that the timer is waterproof and comes with a handy remote. My old timer does not come with a remote and has only one outlet where this one has two. Just be sure you don’t overload the timer as it is made for 15 amp service only.I made a goof where I located the timer. My front porch light has a receptacle to plug in lights, etc. I thought this would be the perfect spot for the timer. What I failed to consider was the porch light is too bright and caused the timer to think it was dawn, thereby turning off my string lights. An easy fix was to build a little shadow box to shade the photocell from the porch light and not everything functions perfectly.I have my decorative string lights to come on at dusk and run for 4 hours. After several days of observation, the timer works flawlessly. It is easy to change programs with either the remote or right on the timer. The timer’s display shows you exactly how the timer is programmed. I appreciate this feature as I will modify the timer when I hang the Christmas light. I will use this timer every day at my house.

I want to love this timer but it occasionally shuts off on its own. The price is slightly less than comparable products but it’s unfortunate that it doesn’t always work as it should. I like that it has a timer and offers different options for length of time. It does work through walls, as I have it hooked up in my garage to connect holiday inflatables. It doesn’t always turn off unexpectedly but know that you’ll need to monitor.

I love this little gadget. I have 4 or 5 timers, different brands so this is the 5 or 6 th one I have . So I just plugged it up tonight and plugged in my Christmas lights to it and yes I am using them all on my Christmas lights. so far so good. This one comes with a remote, which you really don't need if you are using the timer, but I can see where it could come in handy. It has a setting for dusk till dawn which is the setting I normally use. But this is digital and lets you pick how many hours you it to run. I never read instructions, unless it looks complicated or I run into a problem. I am assuming it will the hours out from the time you set it if that makes since. It was close to 5pm when I got it hooked up and I set the hours for 13 hours. so in theory I think they should go off around 5:30/6ish am. This is a great buy, when I need another I will be getting one of these! Best one I have used so far!!
