Suction is good, and easy to install just as described. You get 2 replacement suction cups and you can use whichever fits your device or keep both suction cups.

I really love that this mobile phone holder has good suction to hold it to the dash as well as an arm that bends over the front to counterbalance the phone's weight such that it sits sturdy upon the dash. I also found that with a small modification I was able to turn it into a holder so such that I could cam from my bedroom with my Samsung 360 camera. I simply used a 1/4 inch universal tripod adapter and placed it on top where the phone holder should be and it now holds my 360 camera such that I can cam with friends. Comparatively very inexpensive for a tripod and is a great utilitarian use I'm sure I can find other uses for it I challenge you to do the same. It's very functional as is and of course as a utilitarian object can be used for so much more.
