Got this for my Bonito Bowrider and it's amazing. The adhesive is a little weak so I used 3M spray adhesive to assist. It worked great. The foam is comfortable and looks great

I got this for my small fishing boat to replace the old, worn-out carpet, and honestly I am impressed. The foam feels durable but soft underfoot, perfect for barefoot days out on the lake. It’s also not slippery when wet, which is a big plus when I am reeling in a catch or the kids are climbing in and out with wet feet. One thing that really stood out was how detailed and user-friendly the instructions were. It’s not just a list of steps-they actually walk you through surface prep, cutting tips, and even how to re-stick it if it ever starts peeling. The tips about not using it near fuel tanks or on uneven surfaces were really helpful and felt like advice from someone who’s actually used this stuff on a real boat.Cutting and laying it took about an hour for our deck(I used a utility knife and a long metal ruler), and the backing peeled off clean. The adhesive was strong right away, but the manual says to wait 24 hours to let it fully bond- and I followed that just to be safe. It’s been a few weeks now and it’s still holding up perfectly, even through some rainy afternoons and muddy shoes.

We took our Carin Terrier, Phoebe, out for her first kayak a couple weeks ago. She really enjoyed sitting on the front deck where she could see everything. That is until her claws lost traction on the plastic and she took a plunge in the lake. From then on, she has insisted on being a lap dog. So I ordered this boat flooring to make a pup perch that she could grip more easily. The color matched my kayak perfectly. I made the surface of the platform out of used plywood that I had around. I sanded it a bit and blew it off with an air compressor before I stuck down the EVA foam flooring. It seemed to really adhere well. Since my dog platform was about 21 inches wide and the EVA foam was 16 inches, I had to splice on an additional width from the length I cut off. The flooring is designed to do this (meaning it had a groove on the one edge that would match with the ridge on the opposite edge). It looks great from a distance but careful examination shows that the joint is not perfect. I used a to trim the edges of the foam flush with the edge of the plywood after it was stuck down. This worked great and made the job so much quicker and easier than trying to use some sort of blade. This foam will be so much safer and more comfortable for Phoebe to enjoy her next kayak ride.

A couple years ago I bought some of this EVA boat decking from another seller for the deck I built for my 9’ pontoon boat for fishing. It came unstuck in a day and was worthless. This time it is 100% better from the seller I got this from. Sticks like it’s welded on. Zero issues other than my crappy cutting skills around the cutouts. As the pictures show I used pieces from 2 different sellers and both are awesome. Stick like there’s no tomorrow. Both are thick and with good grip. The foam for this review is the black foam with straight ridges in it. Good thick stuff. These are stuck to marine plywood that was some house paint in it. No prep was done other than running a clean rag over it.The foam is easily cut. It comes rolled up so be prepared to have something to lay in it for cutting. I used a couple dumbbells. Cut great, backing peels off very easily. The one main thing that is expected from something like this is, does it stick? In my application it sure does. I just went down to snap a couple pics and nowhere, not even the corner edges is it comping loose. Only been 3 days but the other stuff I got was laying on the floor curled up after 1 day. I’d buy again 100%Can’t wait to get the boat on the water.

- Review -10/10 I've ordered a few different rolls of peel-and-stick foam boat floor in the past, and this is one of the best options. The lined texture grooves are deep and great for grip. The finish has enough grip to walk on comfortably and isn't slippery like other versions I've tried. I love how bold the white shines against the grey and black. The sticky back is extremely sticky and adheres significantly better than the other brands I've tried. As long as you follow the prep instructions, it should stick to anything easily. There are tons of uses for peel-and-stick foam "boat flooring" other than marine use. I've used it on my workbench to have a soft section to place delicate items, in toolboxes to cushion the rattling tools, on the bottom of a subwoofer so it wouldn't vibrate against the floor so much, etc. I'm planning to use it on my shelves in the future. Basically, if you have a surface you want cushioned, this is an easy way to do that.- Application Tips -Follow the instructions. Surface prep is everything. If you try sticking this on something before you scuff it and clean it with isopropyl alcohol, it will not adhere properly. (and neither will any product like this)The instructions had a warning about offgassing and a smell, but I couldn't smell anything and my air purifier in the room hasn't detected anything. To easily apply it, peel the backing paper about 2 inches off the end and fold it under and back towards the opposite end of the roll. Stick the end you peeled down flat on the surface you want to apply it to. Before peeling further, flatten the entire length of foam against the surface you are adhering to and make sure you are correctly lined up. Then peel from the bottom with one hand and use the other to smooth it down as you go.Be warned, between it coming rolled up and it being foam, there is a little wiggle room, so stop and check that you are still lined up every foot or so. Having a friend or a weight to help hold down the opposite end helps a lot. If you are using a wider cut, you may need to use 2 hands to peel the backing paper. Just stop every foot or so to push it down and double-check your alignment.Do not yank on it and stretch it when you attach it. You want it to lie relaxed and flat.
