Makes Bimini struts easy to connect and disconnect by one person. I did lube up the back side with silicone slider lubricant because they can get sticky when left in one position over the summer. One set I disassembled and filed burrs on the slider to make a nice and smooth operation and added lube too.

Just received the two bimini mounts and was very disappointed of the their quality.One was ok, with a slight rocker, but the other has a rocker gap of 3mm, which wouldn't allow for a proper installation.please refer to the attached photos.

One of the slots in mine was filled with slag (metal chunks) from welding so the arm which slots in would not fit properly. Had to grind it all out in order to get it to work.
