New to pickleball having played for the first time on a recent cruise. As an avid tennis player it did not take long to pick it up and I enjoyed all 6 competitive games I played, even with the generic cruise supplied paddles. I'm definitely interested in playing again locally so I started looking for my own paddle. After reading the reviews and coming across the Explorer Pro on sale for $35 it was a no brainer. Initial impression of the build quality, balance and grip comfort was great. I use a 4-5/8 tennis grip size and was having a hard time finding a budget paddle with anything over 4-1/4 (4.25) so this one at 4-1/2 (4.45) at this price was a big bonus. Also the carbon textured face should allow me to gain much more control and spin, a big part of my tennis game, compared to the smooth generic paddle I had used. Can't wait to try it out!

The pickleball paddles set arrive within 2 days. The paddles are good for the values. There are also 4 balls in the set. We are happy with the whole set. Will buy again.

As a beginner player I didn't want a super cheap paddle but wanted to keep the price within a reasonable budget. It response well in play and the thicker grip tape is super comfortable.I use the cover to help protect it in my gym bag.Paddle works very well for me. My next paddle will be a bit higher quality as I get better. The design gets los off compliments.

Having played with a wooden paddle for half the season and enjoying the feel of that in my hand. This carbon and graphite paddle is feather lite and easy to play with. Though it does not give great feed back through your hand as to how well your shot went, it does deliver a solid shot.

I purchased a graphite-carbon fiber Explorer Pro in Nov 2022. The paddle was great having moderate power and control. It’s probably the most bang for the buck in paddle performance. In May 2023, I noticed the paddle made a strange sound when hitting the ball. I thought i was mis-hitting the ball. Upon close examination I discovered the edge guard was coming loose on about half the paddle circumference. I contacted Niupipo and sent them some pictures of the paddle. They sent me a new replacement paddle a few days later. Great company service and a joy to work with. Thanks Niupipo! Wish all companies stood behind their products like you do.Update: I was later able to re-attach the edge guard on my original paddle with Gorilla Glue. The paddle hits just like a new one. I gave the paddle to a friend who needed a new paddle. He also likes it very much. Good paddle at a good price!

I Played a lot of tennis and ping pong in my day, but was new to pickleball when purchasing this paddle. I have now played with it 3 times a week for 2-3 hours at a time for 4 months. This paddle allowed me to play at a decent level on my first day, people asked where I had played before. I found that in absolutely no time I was able to make all of the same shots with this paddle that I make in ping pong and tennis. It has held up well so far and still looks brand new. I thought I would use it for a while and then move up to a pricier "better" paddle.

I have not been playing pickleball for long, but this is the second Niupipo paddle I have bought. The first one was a set with balls, which I had no issues with. I bought the Explorer Pro simply because I just wanted to try a different paddle and it had good reviews. I started to buy a more expensive paddle, but realized my skills were insufficient to justify the cost. I like the Explorer Pro because it came with a cover, has a nice grip, and looks a little more serious than my other highly colorful Niupipo paddle. I have played with the paddle for about a month and it seems to be a pretty decent paddle for the cost. I don’t have a power game yet nor do I use a lot of spin, so I can’t address those two key areas. I feel it is more of a control paddle, but I think it also has some pop. Any mistakes I make on the court have nothing to do with the paddle. For a beginner like myself, I think it is a great paddle at a great price.

I'm just getting into pickleball, and decided rather than spend a fortune on one of the big name paddles I'd get started with this. It's obviously a very affordable paddle. As it arrived, it looks very well constructed. It seems like a very light paddle, which may be good for my wonky old tennis injured shoulder.Anyway, time will tell if it's right for me, and whether I really move from a beginner to an enthusiast. At that point I'll have enough experience to decide if I need a higher end paddle, and what qualities and features I should look for.But at this point I fully expect this paddle to fill the bill nicely without breaking the bank.

Ex-Tennis player trying out Pickleball in Feb 2022 with a starter set from Niupipo (light weight, fiberglass face and polypropylene-honeycomb core). Switched to Explorer Pro (mid weight, fiberglass/graphite face, polypropylene-honeycomb core) in July after deciding to stick with Pickleball. Pro grip feels better like a tennis racket grip. Performance improved - service, slice, spin, dink, lob, drive and net game. I was competitive against local tournament rated 3.0 to 3.5 players in a very short time. I tried their paddles, e.g., Joola, Engage, Gearbox, Selkirk, Head, Diadem, etc. Each paddle seemed to offer some improvement but not in all aspects of game, as one needs to get used to a paddle that fits the player - grip, weight, surface sweet spot, face, core, feel, comfort, control, power, effort, etc.Customer service was wonderful. My Explorer Pro broke off a small piece of edge guard during one cold evening; we also broke four Pickleball balls. The paddle started making some metallic sound and did not perform as before. I contacted their support. They shipped a replacement, arriving today. FYI: Two other players, who bought theirs earlier than me, still have their Explorer Pro in good condition.

I've extensively reviewed around 15 paddles from various manufacturers over the last year. I was never a fan of Chinese-made paddles because they seem cheaply made and clearly inferior to the USA-made paddles from companies like Paddletek, Selkirk, and ProLite. The Explorer Pro paddle comes somewhat close to the superior quality of the lower-end American paddles. The Explorer Pro is slightly softer and has more control than the Niupipo Explorer which is important because the regular Fiberglass Explorer paddle was too hard and unforgiving for most situations. The Graphite face of this Pro model improves the control, but not enough. There are many shots that bounce off erratically because the Explorer Pro is simply too rigid. The manufacturer claims the Explorer Pro is "Carbon Fiber," but that's misleading since this paddle DOES NOT have a carbon fiber weave face. Graphite is often referred to erroneously as carbon fiber, and paddle-makers use the term knowing most people are ignorant of the differences.Beginner players tend to use harder paddles because they rely on driving the ball and want a paddle to do most of the work. Higher skilled players focus on control and placement, waiting for the right opportunity before attacking with velocity. The rigidity of the Explorer Pro makes it better for the beginner/intermediate player who wants a hard-hitting paddle. The handle length is a bit shorter than some paddles and may not work for those who use a two-handed backhand but is ample for most players.Overall, the price is the selling point for this paddle. If you want a decent paddle for under $70, this is the one. If the price goes above $70 or are a more advanced player, I would take a look at some American branded paddles. Of course, at the 4.0 level and higher, you probably already have a higher-priced performance paddle because spending an extra few dollars is no big deal for advanced athletes.I'm hoping for an Explorer version with a true Carbon Fiber Weave face which will further increase the forgiveness and accuracy albeit with a higher price tag. I see many manufacturers adding a carbon fiber option, but it requires deep pockets for the luxury. Or even better, Niupipo should make the polypropylene core more forgiving and add multiple layers of graphite to increase the touch like other manufacturers while keeping the price low.Lastly, this is not even close to my favorite paddle. There is a rather obscure paddle I was lucky enough to review early in 2021 called the "Baddle Pro Circuit" which retails for almost double the price but, surprisingly, dominates every paddle in performance. I'm keeping the Explorer Pro as a backup but a mediocre paddle with a graphite face isn't anything special.A true Carbon Fiber Weave face would be a gamechanger, so wait on that model.

So I have been playing pickleball with a borrowed racket for a month. I decided that I wanted to improve my game and purchased this Niupipo racket based only on reviews. I honestly didn’t know that there could be such a difference. This racket is easy to use, has a good sticky grip, lightweight and smacks the ball with good solid contact. I’m very pleased with the quality and value and the colour of the paddle is attractive. Bonus points for the neoprene protective cover.

It is very light and not hard to swing, it provides the player with a powerful shot as well as helping place the ball with the new paddle technology. It makes spinning the ball easier with the slick, yet gripping surface. Overall a great paddle and worth every penny, it has certainly helped improve my game by helping consistently place the ball right where I want it on the court. It also has a nice grip that is comfortable and doesn't slip when sweat starts to hit it.
