I got this monitor cage for my OSEE G7 T7 Built-in NATO Rail and I absolutely love it! It comes with a sunhood and cold shoe which are both very handy. It's also very easy to install and gives my camera a much more professional look.

This cage is not the worst, but why build a cage that doesn't have symmetrical mounting points on the sides so that you can swivel the tilt of the monitor?I don't know that this cage does much for anyone except make the monitor heavier and offer cold shoe mounts, but who are these people putting accessories on the monitor instead of on the camera?The monitor only has top and bottom 1/4-20 mounting points, but that means it cannot be mounted into a yoke easily. I thought buying a cage would help, but bought this cage without proper research. it's kind of a pointless cage, imho

This is a great cage for Osee G7 monitor. The monitor is build of plastic and this cage definitely will take the beat and protect it.Super well built but at the same time not heavy or too light. It is just perfect weight.The amount of threads makes easier to connect all kinds of accessories. I can attach my mic, Vmount battery and LED too. The cool thing is that also comes with a sunhood.Great option if you want to protect your G7 monitor.

I broke a monitor in the past from a fall and definitely didn't want to experience it again on this monitor. I picked up the cage to see what I thought and really was surprised at how nice it is. Having the ability to mount so many more accessories and even the option to apply a sunhood is so nice. It added virtually no weight to the entire setup and I feel as if it's better protected too. Super happy with this purchase and isa must have with your monitor!
