burned out within a minute, switched to high beam and it too burned out within a minute. 2022 kingquad (just like another review) Looked nice and bright for the few seconds that it lasted. No idea why it happened. Bought from warehouse deals so unsure of its history but it looked new/unused....edit... tried another one and it looked nice and bright & white in the daytime. When night came and was dark out ,i did a side by side comparison and it surprisingly didnt provide as much light as the lame candle-like HS1 bulb that it replaced. The beam/spread/ etc. looked good, when looking at the headlight it looked bright, it just didnt light up the area in front of the quad well.

The globe is fine if you want to be seen, but is woeful if you want to see.I live in a farming area with no street lights. The low beam is acceptable but the light pattern is not as good as the original halogen globe. The low beam has the same cut off as the halogen and does not seem to dazzle on coming traffic. The light colour is blue/green, which produces very little glare back from road signs (which is a good thing). The halogen globe can produce excessive glare from some road signs. The high beam is atrocious. It produces a blue/green haze. The light pattern is diffused and not focused when compared to the original halogen. The high beam is worse if there are open paddocks on each side of the road, and marginally better if there is forest up to the edge of the road, but I get a better spread and pattern with the original halogen globe.Good as a day globe to be seen by motorists, but not recommended if you want good vision of the road ahead in rural areas. Some readers may think that I installed the globe the wrong way, this was not the case, the globe is constructed so that it cannot be turned in its base. The shield (cup) was facing up as per the standard halogen globe.

The beam is very flat, not very good on hills, the hi beam isn’t much brighter than the low beam. Longevity? Don’t know yet, but I may take it off because of the beam
