I bought the set to use for drilling into brick for anchoring a tv. The set I have been using was taking a while to bore through concrete and brick. After the first bore and how fast the bit went through the brick, I’ve decided to order more of these. I knew something was better than what I was using initially but never thought anything would be this fast. They are awesome.

It took three holes into brick to wear out one bit.

Tried to use them a couple of times on bricks and concrete but there is no real progress while drilling !Used old style with hammer drill and that is far better

Drilled holes into brick easily. Still recommend spraying water on the bit and brick but worked well even without.I used a 7amp hammer drillI'd probably take 5x longer with a normal battery drill.Well worth the money

The fact that one of the carbide tipped bits burned up while I was using it, is a con.And as it happened it was the very one that I needed.I had to go to a larger size to drill the 8 holes that I needed in brick & concrete. Finally had to use pins and liquid weld to firm up the anchors.Other than that everything else appears to be just fine.(Oh, by the way, I ordered a set of diamond tipped bits shortly thereafter)

Good product and it does what it is suppose to do. I had only a few holes to make so can not really speak about the durability but it was not expensive and there are several bit from the same size in the kit, so I would assume you would be ok to make a project considerably larger.

Goes through wood like butter. Cuts glass just fine but go slow or itll crack. Aluminum is not it's friend. 1/4 aluminum chewed the bit pretty quickly .

Installation of grab handles onto finished tiled surface can result in disaster. I used the 5mm dia bit to drill 22 holes through 5/16" ceramic tile and 1/2" Durock cement board. However, I first ground through the hard glazed surface (about 1mm deep) with a 1/8" bull nosed diamond bit in my Dremel. The 5mm drill bit did not appear to be excessively worn after drilling and I am sure I could have repeated the same quantity again without issues. Used drill without hammer which is always recommended. Very pleased with my purchase..

I bought this set to drill holes through really thick tiles to install a shower glass door, and it worked like a charm, i have bought other bits similar to these ones but only lasted 2 or three holes, i drilled 5 holes with one of them and still like new.It helps dipping them in water every few seconds to keep it from over heating
