I played and finished the original back in 2010 and loved it. So I thought, what the heck 11 years later with improved graphics and frame rate it should be even better right? Was I wrong! I guess EA thought it would be a great idea to make the game more challenging by increasing the ai rubber-banding logic but unfortunately has made the game more frustrating than anything else. Once you get to level 5 or 6 as a cop or racer, the garbage ai kicks into high gear and totally begins to ruin the fun factor as one mistake will cost you the race. The 2010 original was still challenging with intense races but the fun factor has disappeared in this remaster due to the insane ai catchup logic. At least it will be free to play on Xbox Game Pass/EA Play near the end of June because it's definitely not worth paying for frustration.

I’m really happy taht I got this game. I used to play it on the my PS3, but wanted to try it on Xbox One too, and I'm not disappointed. It’ not the best racing game by far, but it’s an honest fun game to play. It’s even better than the old/original version. And it arrived much earlier than I was expecting, win win

I know I’m late but this is my first touch on this game. I played the 2010 a little bit back then but I gave it another go.The game is fantastic. All DLC cars are in it EXCEPT the SLR STIRLING MOSS and 722 SLR MCLAREN. Other than that, the game runs smoothly except on very few races where the audio lags.

I played this on the Xbox 360 about 9 years ago, one of the best titles out back then because it was made by Criterion Studios that made Burnout. Need for Speed games now are not good, I was not a big fan of Need for Speed Heat so when this came out I picked it up.This has a fresh coat of paint on it and looks really good. What made me realize how great this game is, is how satisfying the gameplay is. Takedowns, equipment, turbo.. Also the police are fair and balanced. Just being a racer or a cop is so satisfying when you win and getting Gold medals are not hard but do take effort. Criterion did a great job with Need for Speed. I highly recommend getting this title. The only issue that I had was that I didn't realize that all the vehicles are old now lol, they go only up to the year 2007 so you are dealing with all older generation vehicles. There are no new cars put in. If you are ok with this then get the title, because this NFS is better than all recent generic NFS titles that have been coming out.
