Fit perfectly and the pockets are great. I wore them every other day in Maui. Very lightweight & fast drying. The zippered pockets were very secure, not too easily unzipped for potential pick pockets but not difficult to get open. It took me a second to figure which side was front and which was back. There is a little drawstring inside that is almost unnoticed that for me, indicated the front. I'm thinking about buying another pair for summer wear around the house. Super comfortable and also stretchy. I'm always undecided about sizes because some size charts I have to go by hip size, not waist size. I usually wear a 22W petite in LEE jeans and my top half is bigger than my bottoms. The size chart for these shorts showed a significant difference between waist and hips. My waist AND hips are 49-52 inches varying week by week. Going by the size chart these shorts SHOULDN'T fit but they do. It's stretchy enough to be VERY forgiving. Use the hip measurement to guide your decision.

THE FABRIC IS GREAT, THE SIZE SEEMS ACURATE BUT THEY HAVE A PECULIAR CUT ABOUT THEM TAHT LOOKS ODD!?!?

Upon taking these swim shorts from the package, I thought they were very lovely. They have a nice thicker fabric and cute zippered pockets. I am 5'9", slimmer yet older and with a bit of a muffin-top. I found where the waist landed on me was about an inch below my navel; not the most comfortable spot since they feel tight in that area. The fit in the rear and legs were perfect for me. The zippered pockets are very nice and add a cute touch. Then I looked down the side and there was a split. I am a seamstress so normally I could have just sewn them (not that I want to) but there is no seam allowance to grab onto with the needle and thread as it is more a perforation. I don't know if this is just a rare fluke or not.

These swim shorts are not well designed so the fit is very off. They ride on an awkward place on the hip. They look nice in the picture, but not on. Sorry, I was looking forward to wearing them.

These are a mess in so many ways.My biggest rub is that the build-in "brief", as they call it, is no such thing. It's just a bit of mesh. The product images show this with a crotch lining, but it has none. It's literally just mesh. Wearing these without underwear would be extremely unpleasant.Also, this is seamed at the top of the waistband with a straight stitch. Straight stitches do not stretch, people! The stitches started snapping the moment I pulled these over my hip, so the waist seam is falling apart on first wear. Also, because it can't stretch, it is really tight around the waist and bites uncomfortably.I don't understand the point of the elastic draw cord. The waistband is plenty tight enough without it, but apparently they felt like it was necessary? I found that it actually causes major problems with the fit, because it forces the faux-wide waistband to want to fold over it, causing it to bunch up around the elastic. As if the straight-stitched waist seam wasn't bad enough.These have the potential to be amazing with a proper brief lining and a stretch seam at the waist, but they took too many shortcuts and made them unwearable.
