Much stronger than the shorter version. I purchased both the extended and standard version for my son who works on his Subarus. I am not certain why, but the long-reach version is a lot stronger. Great for the reach, but short enough to still work on the brakes of my truck. I've been using Milwaukee battery tools since the 80's. Their battery life and performance are better than any other I've owned.

Wrench is a bit heavy but works great. It’s one of those tools that will require repetitive use to appreciate and to change old habits.

Purchase this for the man of the house and he shows all his friends his new toy and is constantly looking for a reason to use it. It's heavy, but easy to use. It fits the tools he already has so is pretty versatile. Quality is amazing and value is great. It's sleek and brightly colored so he can spot it quickly when he's surrounded by tools and parts. When he's not using it as a tool, he uses it to make his machine gun noises - no joke.
