We needed it for only 3 of the card applications it hosts but used all 3 hard wired inputs on multiple different PC' platforms each with different USB A & C connections and an older iPad with Lightning connection... plug & play every time. We were not reading very large files, video or anything 4K . Our still images were transferred from an older camera and scanning devices (think endoscopic probes). So nothing exotic or high end for our needs, the product transferred files to be viewed and saved to disc no problem.

This is a memory card reader. It has adapters to allow you to use it with USB-C, USB-A or Lightning ports. I found that you have to ensure the Lightning and USB-A adapters are fully snapped (and you hear a click) into the USB-C port before it would work. Reading/writing speeds are as expected for my cards, so the reader wasn’t bottlenecking the speeds when plugged into a USB 3.1 port. The case seems to be made of aluminum and feels solidly built. I only wish the cord was longer. It’s only about eight inches long, which is fine for a laptop, but it will dangle from a PC’s front or back USB ports.

The Small Form Factor (SFF) Dell Optiplex does not have a built-in SD Card reader. Attaching the Ardaddyn Card Reader to the USB type A port was recognized in Windows 10 and did not require any additional drivers. Each of the individual ports on the Card Reader was assigned a Drive letter under "This PC" - which can be a bit confusing if you have multiple Cards inserted into the Reader. The Ardaddyn Card Reader has an aluminum light weight construction and multiple ways to be connected to your devices with interchangeable Apple Lightning/USB-C/USB-A connectors. The flexible wiring has a heavy-duty rubber coating which gives a premium added touch.I recommend the Ardaddyn Card Reader if you require a no-fuss driver free solution to access your data from TF/M2, SD, MS, XD, CF memory Cards.

I came across an adapter that can read multiple memory sticks and cards simultaneously, which is exactly what I needed. Most other adapters I've owned couldn't read multiple SD or TF cards plugged in at the same time, which was inconvenient when dealing with a lot of memory cards for various devices. This adapter allows me to read two different types (and other types as well) all at the same time. Using only USB-A, the SD/TF cards were recognized immediately by my computer, which also recognizes the other ports and lists them as accessible removable drives in Windows. It's also helpful in that it can read multiple types, not just SD and MicroSD. Although I don't own CF or other memory sticks utilized for DSLR cameras, I now have the capacity to read them with this adapter. Moreover, with its flexible connection options, you can plug it into a device using either USB-A, USB-C, or Lightning for tablets or phones. The device is well-constructed and solid in an aluminum casing, which is handy for cooling.Rating criteria:⭐️ 1 Star - Regrettably, this product fails to meet expectations due to its poor quality. Consequently, I cannot provide a recommendation for it.⭐️⭐️ 2 Stars - While there are positive aspects, the product has significant drawbacks or is overpriced, making it hard to recommend.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 Stars - This product is satisfactory, with some minor issues, but generally meets basic quality standards, making it a reasonable option for those willing to overlook its flaws.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 Stars - A product that fulfills its promises, providing a satisfactory experience and deserving consideration.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Stars - An exceptional product that exceeds expectations, offering outstanding quality and value, making it a top recommendation.

I tested this with both my devices and it worked great...under FILES is where you find the folder that shows the files saved on the cards. I think the subfolder in there is called 'unnamed' damn forgot to screenshot but pretty sure that's it.This is well made, metal case with solid internals you can tell when you put the cards in. Good thick well insulated cable and ends. What a godsend to have 3 built-in adapters on one end, just one card reader required and the desktop, the new USB-C and the lightning connected devices all work with it! It is USB 3.0 but compatible with 2.0 so old and new compatibility included. No more clutter at the desktop with a device for each device, lol.It will only show you one folder at a time I found, as I had an SD card and a TF card plugged in at the same time but only 1 showed up. On it I had a pdf, a jpg and a txt file and it saw and read all of them on both devices. Note those were all in the root of the card, not in a folder on the card. When plugged in to Win 10 desktop it adds 5 drives; makes sense 5 different card slots on this device. The last drive letter added represents the card in the slot. I did have issues as outlined in the manual the PC asked to format the card I ignored it and the card contents showed up on a drive letter anyway. But I could not get the phone or ipad to see the contents of that TF card so I popped in a brand new TF card and plugged back into the PC to copy files to it. This time it saw and read it correctly no format request. Copied files to it, tested on ipad & iphone and voila it read it no issues so my first TF card had to have something preventing it from working properly. I confirmed it can see within folders not just files saved to the root of the cards. So this was a good buy, it works as advertised, and saves some clutter and needless other devices. I'm happy to have it and highly recommend it!
