I have owned a number of these things over the years and this is by far the best. They seem to have thought about everything including a tool to clear plugged nozzles. The ability to set the coverage for 2 dimensions is fantastic and is something that really sets this product apart from the competition. I highly recommend this product. This is all plastic and I would have bought the metal version in hind sight. I don't know how but the graphics showing you how the "width" setting works could be improved. Reading the manual put me in the know. :-)

Works great :) It does not have an on off switch…. so I added a shut off valve to it and that helps with positioning without having to run back and forth to faucet. Quiet and smooth operation... can be adjusted to a lot of different area sizes.

Using it on a newly seeded lawn. While it is not really robust in its build, it is very easy, even intuitive, to adjust and use. You can really put the spray where you want it.Just an update to say you can really focus where you put the water with this sprinkler. I like it even more.

el área que yo necesitaba cubrir 6m de ancho por 12 de largo y se puede regula la apertura del abanico y la presión del agua, esto hace muy como y rápida el regularlo para cubrir la zona a regar. recomendable buenos materiales.

I read a lot of reviews before deciding on this sprinkler -- I didn't want to spend TOO much but I also wanted a really durable, good-quality sprinkler that was going to last. This one is plastic and metal but feels and operates very sturdy -- I am very impressed with how well it waters and would definitely recommend! I don't think you could run it over with a truck or anything, obviously, but for something that you're going to take care of and use for it's intended purpose, dragging around the yard and watering, it seems like a great solid purchase so far for the price and I'm 100% happy.

I did buy a second one of these. Overall I'm happy but a con I find with it is the output pressure is quite low so it doesn't quite get a 5 star for me. It does do a great job though nonetheless. A bit bonus is the ability to shape the water path and the set-up to do so is a snitch.

So the first one arrived broken....a plastic tooth had come off somewhere, not a huge deal, but I usually want things to be correct if I am paying full price....so we returned it and asked for a replacement...that process was fine, but would rather have not had to do it. The replacement sprinkler started sticking after the first week, so maybe the 3rd or 4th time using it? It seems to get stuck in various settings, but so far when we adjust one of the settings a bit it un sticks, although sometimes it gets stuck again. What a frustrating thing to deal with, going to unstick the sprinkler x2 in a 30 minute watering session. Plus it leaks like crazy at the quick connector, that we bought just for it (to use the attachment it came with....same Melnor brand, bought on Amazon at the same time...what the heck?) First time trying this brand and I don’t think I will buy their stuff again. This is very old technology, not rocket science and not changed much in 50-75 years except that it is now very light plastic crap that frequently does not work. What a waste of money. Get something else!

It was ready to use right out of the box. The slide controls are intuitive and easy to adjust. The whole unit is sturdy and made of a hard but not brittle plastic. It does not seem to be affected by hot sun. it gives even watering over its full adjustable range. An excellent price and I recommend it without reservation.
