Very pleased with the fit and finish. Super easy to use and rock solid mount. My antenna screwed right on and this works 1000% better than the cheap plastic mount it came with.

.... though it didn't work for me. I wanted to mount a Shakespeare SiriusXM antenna on a mast, and I didn't want to cut the end of the prepared coax and re-terminate. The smallest end of the cable was too large to fit through the relief hole in the mount, so I returned it and am replacing the mount with a Shakespeare one with a cable relief slot instead of a hole. I didn't remember to measure the diameter of the hole, but a cable diameter of 13/32" was too big. The mount seems well make, and the release lever and serrated angle adjustment worked well. If your cable is less than 3/8" diameter, and you're going to add a connector, this would be a good choice IMHO.

Very sturdy and will be using it for an 8 foot antenna for my marine radio. heavy metal with no plastic, even the adjustment lever is metal. Make sure to decide where you want to mount it. it is a square base and takes more room than i expected on the my small boat.

The bolt hole pattern was off .010 in length compared to the mid 2000 era mount i was replacing right before a big trip (my bad). My original plastic mount from 2006 held a short XM antenna. I was swapping that out with an 8' VHF. Long story short, after much work reaching the top and bottom alone was rough when the holes were that close, yet a large difference to ream the aluminum structure with short notice. Slapped it back together with the plastic and headed out. No issues running it up at 29mph.I return, long clean up, send mount home. Then I realized our return window is now 30 days. Yet my mount is in perfect condition, difficult to find a work around these days to call amz to attempt a resolution.It is a very well-built mount the price, design and quality. I wouldn't need it again till next year Times are tough these days.
