This gold locked is very pretty in person! It looks exactly as pictured. The locket is easy to open but stays closed securely. It opens to allow access to two small spaces for photos. The spaces are indented, so you can place the photos within the space without them getting in the way of the hinge or closure. The locket is slim enough that it is not immediately obvious that it is a locket, so it works as a pretty pendant all on its own as well. The piece appears to be well crafted, without any defects, and it is very pretty and suitable for gift-giving or for a treat for yourself!

This butterfly locket necklace is very pretty but it's much smaller than the pictures. If you want to put pictures in it they'd be so small you wouldn't be able to see the faces like you can in the product images.Fortunately, I didn't get it for the locket feature. I got it because I really liked the butterfly and the background of it. The necklace is lightweight and I really like the station beads.
