Meant to order the more heavy duty ones I bought last year but couldn’t find the right seller. I used these on my chicken run to keep out heavy rain and heavy winds- nice enough but some threads are already raveling at install.

These are very, very lightweight, which perhaps is what 40% is supposed to be. The edging seems pretty strong and the corners are reinforced with hard plastic corner pieces. The screens are pieced, with a seam down the middle, in the long dimension. The grommets around the edges are not placed at regular intervals (e.g., half-way, or every two feet) but instead are sort of oddly spaced. Plenty of zip ties are included but they are very short and lightweight; it took four of them end-to-end to make it around a 4x4 post. If the screens last a whole growing season I guess they might be worth their low cost.

This has to be "THE" worst shade cloth I have ever purchased. I tried twice(2 orders of 2each) to get 2 that were even remotely close to the 6x8 dimensions they claim. Both times the clothes came at over 7 foot wide and 8.5 foot long. The 40% claimed shade rating is a joke also. The ones received were maybe 20% at best when I compared them to my other 40% shade clothes in my garden.BUYER BEWARE. Avoid this supplier as they will not refund you if you return the item.

Used it to protect a Honeysuckle Shrub from excessive heat. It's noticeably cooler under the canopy and it easily allows rain to flow through. Excellent product!

Easy to fasten, provides good shade and I can even leave it on in the rain. Use bungees to fasten. No complaints here
