Garbage. Do not buy. The prong end is not compatible with the original APCO UV unit. One star is too high.

It WORKS.Easy to replace/install.Good for 2+ years.Note on the a/c unit the date you changed it, Else you'll forget when to replace :-)I recommend it.

My local supply house was out of the OEM brand of UV bulb replacement that I needed. I decided to order this bulb instead and it worked perfectly and was shipped fast and packed well. The only difference between this replacement and OEM was this bulb doesn't come with the short black cord connector. That connector is easily pulled off the failed OEM bulb and then you just plug it onto this one.

You may have trouble connecting the power cord if your original bulb has a directional check. I was able to get mine on and lit, hopefully there is no polarity issue.
