The Yomiuwo lighted plug and socket set is very easy to install. The supplied instructions are well written and easy to follow for someone not already familiar with installing extension cord ends. I like the added safety of the wire connection design where each of the 3 wires is slid into a completely insulated cavity each of which is marked for the corresponding wire. Both the plug end and the socket end use clear locator tabs to ensure they are reassembled correctly with the supplied coarse thread screws.I have found that the indicator light in the plug end is a great way to determine if the old style GFI (no trip light, almost flush reset button) is tripped or not when I plug in the extension cord. The other lighted end, 85 feet away from the GFI, lets me know if the cord still has power when a tool stops running.This set is well designed and constructed. It's a very useful outdoor addition for me.

Just the right brightness. Plugs grip well. Fit an old heavy 600v cord too. I like these for cords I use to plug block heaters in.
