I took my kayak out on a river by myself for the first time which might actually be really stupid except this thing was so easy. I felt in control the whole time and it was easy to get launched by myself. In places the river had quicker currents and I didn't at all feel like I was ever going to tip. I would advise getting plugs though if you want to be less wet.

Good for lake bird watching. Paddles never arrived. Boo on that. Neither did the photo shown back support. Still happy with it and no complaint because its a great price delivered and i would have replaced the oars anyway.I bought this because of youtube videos showing how a milk crate fits great lashed down on the back shelf. Good to securing sun umbrella, poles, and a lunch box. And how stealthy quiet you can be near water fowl.I have enjoyed very expensive kayaks, like my klepper aurius ii. But sometimes i just want to sit on the water, pad about, and not engage it in a tug of war.Fits in my minivan. No lifting on to top. Slides in with only passenger back seats down. Huge win! It's a nice sturdy stubby kayak. Perfect!

This thing is great. I'm 5'10" and 170 lbs. and I'm about as big as you want on this thing. Any bigger though and moving it from truck to the lake would be too much of a chore. This is light enough that my 9 yr. old son can help me pack our gear on it and carry it down to the water without issue. It is great for leisure days out on the lake with a fishing pole watching the kids play, etc. Feels stable and easy to maneuver. The little kayaks for the kids fit right on top in the grooves which was an added bonus for storage and transporting.
