THe Latch Restorer Strike Plate provides both a then and slightly larger offset on the door edge to accommodate different lock positions. Easy to install and looks to be very durable.

Depending on the season, our garage door expands or shrinks and throws a tantrum when we're trying to lock it with a deadbolt. I tried moving the strike plate, which worked for a while, but then it came back again. This expanded strike plate helped with the issue! I decided to use the longer screws, since the wood under the current strike plate has seen its share of different screws over the years. The included dowel rods helped with filling the old screw spots and driving in the new one. So far the door has locked and unlocked without an issue. Highly recommended!
