The bar is great the adhesive strip definitely doesn’t work but it can be permanently attached to the wall with screws and mounting hardware. The measurements in the explanation are exact. The items is a good heavy metal. I like it.

The bars are easy to install and look great. The adhesive works extremely well. I used a torpedo level when I attached them to make sure they were level. Once they are placed there’s no adjusting them which is a good thing. Very pleased. Bought two more.

Very nicely quality. But we’re too short for what I wanted to use them for so I returned them. I ordered longer ones of the same style and brand. Very pleased with them.

The towel bar has a nice finish, metal is actually fairly thick feeling, the mounting plates seem a little cheaper then the bar. The bar will include anchors for screwing to the wall as well as adhesive pads, which I don't think I would ever depend on adhesive pads for something that takes weight. Unfortunately for me I didn't measure the exact place I wanted to install it and it ended up being too long with the backing plates, but still will find use for it else where as it is a nice simple little towel bar.I think it will simply work, it will depend of what esthetic your are going for in your room, just not a 5 star cause I think it's priced a little more than what it is worth, not that it isn't a decent bar.

Double sided tape mounts really well, a little too well.If you ever have to take it off, the manual recommends exposing to heat for one minute.Well, it does not work, and if you try too hard, you end up damaging your cabinetry.
