I used a brand new Metabo NV65AH2 16 degree siding nailer for an 8'X8' board-on-board fence. For the base pickets I used Simpson 1-3/4" coiled nails and about every 5th nail would not shoot or bent in the nailer. I used these 2-1/2" nails for the top pickets without a single failure. I'm not sure if the problem with the smaller nails were the fault of the nails or the nailer but I'm very pleased with these nails.
