The seven sets of lowercase letters is a magnetic letter game changer! My daughter's first name is in our native language and has 3 e's, 2 a's and 2 s's. A lot of magnetic letter kits don't have enough letters for her to even spell her name. The letters stick easily to the cute little whiteboard as well as our fridge. I can't speak to how long the dry-erase markers will last but really - what are you going to do? If they were any bigger, they'd be too big for little hands - they are the perfect size but that is going to limit the capacity. The eraser cleans the whiteboard well but I use a whiteboard cleaner spray after many uses because like all whiteboards, the eraser alone won't work forever. I was only familiar with the plastic magnetic letter sets before this and wasn't sure about foam - know that I'm sold and wouldn't dream of using the plastic ones again. They're soft, safe and less likely to end up in mouths. The case they come in is inspired! I know that sounds weird but by marking each square with the letter that goes in there, putting them away becomes a fun, learning activity and the kids find it fun to just dump them all out and then put them away in the right places. Imagine kids thinking putting their toys away properly is a great game and you'll understand why I said the case is inspired. Lastly, my first thought when I ordered this was that as pleased as I was with seven of each lowercase letter was. 'Do we really need 7 q's or 7 z's? Maybe it would have been better to just have extra vowels.' However, it's really come in handy for my daughter (I regularly babysit two smaller children that a lot of the above applies to) by putting (for example) 7 a's vertically on the board and challenging her to come up with 7 words that start with A. (add, apple, and, etc) We're working our way through the alphabet and she's expanding her vocabulary by trying so hard to find seven words that start with some of the more obscure letters (like Q, Z, etc)With so many letters, this works and is unintended way for us to make this educational.

When I saw the Joyreal magnetic alphabet letters set, I had to order it. Even though it is a couple of years before my grandson will be ready to use it, I had to get it because it’s the best alphabet letter set I’ve seen. Most sets only include capital letters, which can be confusing for kids. Plus they are typically made with very bright colors that can be distracting and you may get only one piece of each letter. This set has subdued colors and includes a generous amount of capital and lower case letters (over 200 total pieces) so children can use them to spell their names and other words. The set also includes a ruled white board, three dry erase markers and an eraser so they can also practice writing letters. I would like for my grandson to be able to use the magnetic letters at a table instead of just on the refrigerator so I will probably pick up a metal cutting board or something similar for him to use for that purpose. (The letters don’t stick to the whiteboard since it’s not metal.) This is a great set for children age three and up and an excellent value for the money. I highly recommend it.

I wish I could give this review more than 5 stars to be honest. There’s so many kits like this out there right now, but what sold me on this was HOW they organized it. Like.. this is how my brain organizes things. Compartmentalization baby! Do you realize how much better this kit is for it? You get muted colors for the letter options, there’s more lower case than upper case (by design and honestly… you need that more) and with muted colors you have less visual distraction. Because the box is organized in such a way you also get the added bonus of letter sorting if you dump the whole thing out.. so it gives another in depth use for this item. Only one side of the included board is magnetized but that’s honestly not a big deal since both sides are dry erase, and it all fits so perfectly and neatly inside the box. This is a DREAM. I am IN LOVE. You have no idea how happy this little board has made me.. I’m going to throw away my other letter kit and use this one with the cards from my other one and just clip them to the board or something to make it work together because this is far superior hands down. Thank you! Would recommend 10,000/10

Why did you pick this product vs others?:My son absolutely loves this! One side has lines for dry erase markers and the other side is magnetic for letters.

My son loved this set. He’s just learning his letters, and he used the kit to experiment with putting words together. The letters themselves are a rather thin foam, not the highest quality, but so long as you aren’t letting younger kids mess around with these, they’ll hold up well enough. The magnets are strong enough to hold firmly to a whiteboard, though not strong enough to hold anything else with it. It also comes with a number of duplicates of each letter. This is its biggest strength by far, and the most important. With letter kits in the past, I’ve often found that there aren’t enough duplicate letters to do any real spelling (e.g. not enough “l”s or “e”s, so you can’t make sentences or anything, but that was not the case here. It’s a good little kit, and I’d recommend to anyone who’s looking for something of the type!
