I purchased this to attach to my phone cage set ups to use an external monitor for shooting content and being able to use my rear cam instead of forward facing.. It is sturdy and magnets are really strong. This is prefect for anything with magsafe.

Exactly what i wanted to buy and more. The screw hole and square slot adapter are both good fits. Installs easily and quickly. Plastic is thick and robust. Magnet holds well and comes with additional magnetization stickers. Overall I think the build is great and it works exactly how I need it to. Perfect investment!

Just received this today so can't comment on longevity. Quality seems very good - a bit smaller than I was expecting but still very sturdy and functional.The magnet works extremely well with the Spigen Magsafe case on my iPhone 16 Pro Max! Not much concern with the phone falling off. It's great that there are hand/finger knobs to tighten all the joints - one of the reasons I bought this - they work very well!One of the best things I love about the tripod mount is the ability to remove 'sections' depending on your needs - very easy to make the mount short, medium or long/tall length. Very versatile!!

This hot shoe mount is disappointingly fragile. Despite installing it properly, it broke instantly when my son reached for my iPhone. The plastic unions and parts feel too weak for regular use. I’d recommend looking for a sturdier alternative…

I now have the ability to easily adjust my shot with how versatile this Magnetic Mount is. Having the ability to change angles effortlessly has put this gadget at the top of my essential list, next to a tripod. Having the space to add either an attachment or charger whilst being attached to mount is Impressive.

I hate the spring loaded claw type phone holders. I wanted to be able to quickly load my phone up onto my tripod and take it back off. I figured - I've got 3 magnetic mounts for my phone, where's the tripod side of this... Voila! Here we are. This is perfect. Magnet is just good enough to hold your phone and not make you worry about it. I might prefer it a little stronger for me because I use my phone at the pool-hall to record my practices. But if you don't have the risk of people bumping into it, you should be fine. Really easy to install, just screw it on and you're ready to rock. Its adjustable as well which makes it nicer for larger/smaller phones, and to get your angles right for whatever you're recording.

As someone who likes experimenting with photography and video, this magnetic cold shoe phone mount has been really useful over the past few days. Setting it up with my Android phone and action camera was seamless, and the strong magnet feels secure, even when adjusting angles. I love the flexibility of the 180° tilt and the ability to switch between landscape and portrait modes - it's been perfect for testing different shooting styles. The cold shoe and 1/4”-20 screw hole options make it versatile enough to use with my tripod and other gear. However, the detachable brackets, while handy, took a bit of trial and error to figure out. For other users I would suggest to take a moment to tighten all the knobs to avoid wobble during use. This mount is compact, portable, and a practical addition for any hobbyist or content creator looking to maximize their gear.
