I opted to wired ones instead of USB purely because of connection issues. These are a little pricy but you pay for what you get. Really comfortable and sound quality is good. Working on the phones daily and taking 40+ calls a day these are worth the investment ans paying a little more.

I bought this headset as a replacement for my trusty old Logitech H570e headset. I got it at a very reasonable price, but because the Jabra headset had an RRP which was more than double the RRP of the Logitech, I expected it would be far superior - how wrong I was! I use my headset for three main purposes - VOIP calls/meetings (e.g. MS Teams, Skype, Zoom etc.), recording audiovisual presentations (e.g. Panopto, Articulate etc.) and listening to music when I'm doing neither of the first two. This Jabra headset is worse than the Logitech (almost a decade old) in every single respect as far as I'm concerned. With regard to work calls, the Logitech headset has an inbuilt audio-loop feature which means that you hear your own voice being fed 'naturally' back to you through the earpiece as you speak: this is done brilliantly, with no perveptible delay. Whilst the Jabra offers a similar feature (Jabra call it 'sidetone), it has to be manually enabled, but even when enabled, it is far more quiet than it should be, meaning that your own voice still sounds really muffled. Other people may not find this an issue, but it is an absolute deal-breaker for me. The only upside to this Jabra unit over the Logitech headset for work calls is the integration with MS Teams, but this does not overcome the basic sidetone functionality issue. My second key use is recording audiovidual presentations for students to use. Again, the Jabra is almost useless here for me, due to the hopeless sidetone limitations. Again, it feels like you are recording with earplugs in. Whilst others may not struggle with this, I find it incredibly difficult to present whilst being almost completely unable to hear my own voice 'naturally'.Finally, listening to music. First things first - the audio quality is great. No complaints on that front. What does bother me is the infuriating volume limitations built into the Jabra Direct software. I do not listen to music at a ridiculously loud volume but whenever I have music playing, the audio limiter kicks in and automatically starts reducing the volume of my music, before then raising it again if the track has a quieter section. I have tried all of the different noise protection settings in the Jabra Direct software but none of them allow me to listen to my music at the volume I want without interfering in some way. Worse still, the headset has a nasty tendency to make an abrupt 'crack' sound every once in a while, at a volume which is painfully loud.In terms of comfort, I would also say that this unit is not great for those of us with a slightly larger-than-average size of head. I find that it pinches quite tightly even when extended to its maximum. However, the earpad material is lovely and soft and doesn't seem to cause overheating.Overall, a very elegant-looking unit which is sadly ruined from my point of view by the awful Jabra Direct software, the lack of proper sidetone feature and the infuriating volume control. I have gone back to using my Logitech headset which is now almost a decade old, whilst the Jabra is now just an expensive dust collector on my bookshelf.

Sound quality is good however the mic stopped working after 6 months. It claims to have noise cancellation but this isn't something I've noticed while using them. They're also not comfortable to wear all day, especially with wearing glasses. As other reviews mention, the features aren't compatible with all apps either.
