I spent a few hours crimping with this tool. I used some old Tyco cat-5 connectors crimping solid and shielded CAT5E, then tried the included CAT6 pass-through connectors on two kinds of CAT6 cable.Crimps were perfect on both the CAT5 Tyco, and the included CAT6 connectors on all the cable types.I quite like the pass-through connectors. My other crimpers don't do those :)One issue I have, the sheath stripper only worked on the thicker variety of CAT6.It wasn't a matter of how hard to squeeze, the gap was just too big, and that's the only one that touched the blade. The thinner CAT6 (Superior Essex DataGain Cat6+) and neither of the CAT5 could touch the blade. The stripper blade is shared with the cutter, so there's no way to adjust this, or alter the depth at all.5 star crimper, -1 star since now I have to carry two tools. (Or just my other crimper, lol)So, very nice crimper, excellent if you happen to only work with thicker CAT6.

I like the pass through design of this crimper which makes it easy to use so the wires don't need to be cut at a specific length. I also like that it's an all in one tool as it has built in wire cutters, wire strippers and the RJ45 crimper. The wire color coding chart on the side of the tool is also quite handy to use for reference. It makes strong crimps and good connections and the wires can't be easily pulled out of the connectors. The build quality is good and it's primarily made of steel and it feels rigid. The blades are sharp and the tool doesn't require much force to use. Another nice feature is that the handle can be locked in the closed position so it can be stored in a tool bag pocket. I used this to replace the connections on my ethernet cables and it worked well without any issues.

For less than half the price of a Klein Tools VDV226-110, you get very similar looking crimper, wire stripper, 30x pass-through RJ45 connectors, and even some replacement blades. Without a doubt, this is an incredible value compared to anything you can find at your hardware store. In use, I struggled initially to unlock the crimper as no instructions were provided. I then realized that the crimper itself is sold under many rando brands and I found the instructions on the VCE's listing. Basically, you need to press down on the tool a little to be able to push the lock pin out. After having figured that out, it was a very easy exercise to get a RJ45 jack crimped onto a network cable.Like the Klein Tools, it even has the color code stamped on the crimper so you won't mess up. It feels incredibly solid and hefty in the hand. I also like how the crimper has an integrated cutter and stripper which both works great. It's also very small and won't take up much space in your IT tool bag. The connectors were also equally good. Each pins hit straightly into the wires and the connection received a passing mark from a cable tester. The only part of the assembly I didn't like was the plastic wire stripper. As it is a one piece plastic with no springs, you can't adjust tension and it cuts too deeply for thicker cables (sometimes into the wires). I wouldn't trust this for any job. Last nitpick was that the tiny carry case it comes with was cracked at both the hinges and the plastic lock tab.Overall, the kit from IT Bebe gives you everything you need to crimp a network cable. Seemingly, the only thing missing is a cable tester. Both the crimper and connectors are well made and they work well. Even with my complaints on the wire stripper and carry case, it is difficult to judge it harshly when considering the overall value you are getting. 5/5

This small but mighty crimper is an all in one rig that is small in size but has plenty of functions. It strips, cuts, crimps, and trims. Cleanly at that! The solid metal body lends a confident feel when squeezing away while its ergonomic fingered grooves fit well in the hand. Overall, I have zero issues with this crimper and would certainly recommend. Thanks for stopping by!
