I absolutely love these grippers, you can SEE them so you won't trip over or break them and can find them to adjust them. This is in a veggie garden mind you. Maybe the red isn't desirable in ornamental landscaping. These have very fine control and the design allows them to be cleaned out unlike the seals droppers which have to be trashed when they clog and the WILL ALL CLOG. I've been a landscape designer for over 30 years and they all clog. Especially in hard water. These can be cleaned endlessly. A great investment.

All my plantings are irrigated by a drip system. You can use fixed-flow emitters or you can use the DLHMBOQ 50 piece 1/4" drip irrigation emitters that you can adjust as your plants grow and need more gallons-per-hour of flow. By simply adjusting the cap on the emitter you can get a trickle up to a fairly wide spray. It does take a little practice to learn how to get the right flow, but once you do, these work well. I especially like the long stake to secure the emitter since I have a dog who thinks it is her duty to eat them. I like the red color to help locate the emitter under a larger shrub when an adjustment is needed. Don’t be inhibited by drip irrigation. It makes your life easier and saves on your water bill.

I worked on my flower bed today and I used some of the DLHMBOQ 50 Pcs 1/4" Adjustable Anti-Clog Drip Emitters. They were very easy to install; they fit my 1/4" tubing without needing to soften the tubing. The emitters held tight when I turned on the water. I like how you can adjust the flow rate as needed. The red color on the emitter makes it easy to locate them once the plants grow. 50 pieces at the current price point is a great deal, especially if you price similar ones at the big box stores! I will be using more in another flower bed.

I have a mixture of drip emitters and sprayer/bubblers in my irrigation system. Some of my plants don't like wet leaves and have a longer spacing, so I want to use drip emitters for those. But much of my raised bed garden contains plants that do well with watering a larger area and for those, I prefer this style of bubbler or a small sprayer. This is a nice, cost-effective set. My only challenge is that the barb is a bit larger than some other brands, so it is a bit more work to insert in the tubing. But, there is an advantage to that, too. It might be less likely to come out inadvertently.
