Relay timer works as advertised. Easy to set up. Good documentation (PDF is also on-line if needed). Some good flexibility with the different modes. I could've used one more mode which would have been delay (t) to start and delay (t) to stop (after trigger is lost). But can't complain, would buy this brand again.

I used this time delay relay in a security system as a snooze function to set the motion alarm. It was wired correctly and quit working after a month. Would not recommend

Perfect - my only issue is the relay sounds like the coil is going to let go inside. I attempted to get ahold of seller without any resolve.. Only using it for testing so not a huge deal, would have got 5/5 if she didn’t buzz around like crazy. No returns so buyer beware. Hopefully seller will pay attention to the review.

I purchased this to run an exhaust fan for our well water treatment after our well pump shut off to continue to remove the sulfar gas. This worked perfectly once I wired it up correctly. The well pump kicks on, the fan kicks on using the trigger port, once the well pump kicks off, this allows the fan to continue to run for time that I selected on the relay.This is a copy of the Macromatic te-8816U and you can find a great youtube video(SQVUoIkKIBA) showing wiring and operational examples.

It did not work at all, waste of time and money. The dry contacts are open, did not switch.

I can't say enough nice things about this unit. With 12v being the very bottom of its input voltage spec, I wasn't sure how it would perform in an automotive application, but it's happy to 10v and below, turns out.It gets a little warm in operation, so don't wire it up where that would cause battery drain, but as a shutdown timer that kills its own power, it's fine. (Program E, with some diodes to let it power itself up in the first place.) All the programs are useful too, I'm gonna start keeping a few of these around for general purposes.The time setting dial isn't super accurate; the range between 1% and 10% is considerably smaller than it looks. If you need very long times, this can be difficult to test, but the percentage applies regardless of which decade interval you've set. So the workaround is to find a short interval and test there: Say you need a 7-day delay, which you'll set as 70% of the 10d interval. Instead, set it for the 10s interval and tweak the percentage until you get a 7s delay. Then just flip over to the 10d interval and you should be good!

Easy program good function. How ever. Set screw terms leave a bit to be desired. Trouble getting a single awg14 to stay locked in.
