This is a 1/2 impact wrench with the capacity of using the Makita 18v batteries. It is a good addition to my collection of tools. This impact is very affordable and I feel like it is well worth the price. Unfortunately it doesn't have as much torque as it states. I put it to the test and it can barely break my lug nuts torqued with a torque wrench at 120lb. Now that I know that I can use this according. The equivalent size of this impact which is the real Makita is capable of 222ft/lb. This imitation Makita is not that strong. That is not important though because the price is very good. If you want a compact 1/2 impact that can use the 18v Makita battery that produces 120ft/lb. I would recommend this to my friends and family. Great price. I've had mine for about 6 months and use it regularly to rotate tires and break small bolts and nuts. There is a switch on it that will reduce the torque if you need less torque. I am happy with my purchase!

Overall I'm impressed. I'm not building a high rise but for general assembly or disassembly works well. Its great to tighten things up after starting everything by hand. I learned that lesson the hard way years ago.

This is an excellent tool. I actually use it at the junk yard for removing large part’s and it works great.
