I was looking for a strobe light that offered a good amount of wattage at a good price...for my portable setup. I ordered 2 of these bulbs. This is a good flash for the money...butit has it's limitations. Both test button and synch cord input are located on the bottom of the bulb. Once you screw into the socket, you cannot insert the PC synch cord that came with it. Also, the synch cord is not like the standard cord on most flash bulbs. The male end is a little bigger. My plan was to use one as the master, and the other one as the slave, but because I cannot insert a synch cord once I've screwed the light into the socket, I can only use these bulbs as slaves. If you just need a cheap slave bulb that will give you an 80 watt output, and quick recycle time, then this is a good light.I'll give it 3 stars because of the price and the power output, but I will not purchase any more of these lights.I will just save my money and get 2 SP-100's.
