Just perfect for what I needed. That said I don't use them for walking the dogs just for when I put them in the car. It means that I have something to grab hold of if I need to when they get out. Longer leads meant that they were getting in a right tangle and knotting themselves up in a potentially dangerous way. With these they can move around as necessary in the boot area but, I also have a better means of control than just a collar when they're getting out.They're well made and sturdy and would certainly offer close control for there intended purpose

Other than getting stuck closed, it's a very good lead. It's handy for using in crowded place and it has a comfortable handle.
