About this item

  • 【Professional and Effective Exercise Device】This seated calf raise machine is designed to exercise the calves and enhance the strength, power and lines of the calves. It ensures correct posture and maximizes muscle activation during exercise, resulting in stronger, more powerful calves.

  • 【Adjustable Settings】The height of the calf machine leg pad can be adjusted in 4 levels, and the distance of the support rod front and back can be adjusted in 4 levels to adapt to people of different heights to adjust the comfortable training posture. Height Recommendation: Up to 6'0". Detachable barbell sleeves for use with 1&2 inch barbell plates!(SALES DO NOT INCLUDE WEIGHT PLATES)
  • 【Multifunctional Calf Exerciser】There are currently 2 types of exercise methods available, with barbell plates and elastic bands to choose from. There are 4 elastic band hooks attached to the elastic bands on both sides, which can be connected to the elastic bands to increase resistance and have better leg muscle building effect.
  • 【Excellent Comfort Design】The flat leg compression pad can relieve pressure on the legs, and the wider and thicker seat is more comfortable. Equipped with extended anti-slip pedals to keep it stable and not wobbly during exercise.

Have had this for about a month or so. Easy to assemble and very solid piece of equipment. Commercial gym grade product. Highly recommend.

This seated calf raise machine is by FAR the best design of the variations produced by other companies. I will start with the good things about this machine and its design.Pros- Best design having the weight horn in line with the seat bar (sticking off the front). The majority of other designs have 2 horns off either side. This is a pain, you need to balance the weight per side so this means you are stuck to 5lbs increments (with two, 2.5lbs plates, 1 per side), whereas with this single horn design you can climb in 2.5lbs increments. Even if using Olympic bumper plates, you could load up 4x 55lbs plates and I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that I highly doubt anyone can lift that with the leverage ratio provided by this machine. And if you happen to be Hercules, then switch out to steel plates and fit twice as much.- I love the band pegs on either side, I also live that standard, short length bands fit perfectly. So if you want to use either heavy or lighter resistance bands you can use whatever you have.- I love the 3-legged design. This allows it to sit solidly on a floor that may not be most level (poured concrete garage floor).- I love the option to use either standard size or Olympic plates.- I love the ball bearings in the pivots, so much smoother. The bushing (or simple bolt) are junk. I'm very happy with the bearing design.- I love the adjustability.... but, see below (cons)Cons- Unfortunately all of the padding is very poor. The legs pads crush with only 45lbs on the horn, making it very uncomfortable on my quads. I rectified this by placing a 3" yoga block between my leg and the pad, now it is perfect.- I cannot figure out the seat. The shape is horrible, it either half supports each leg (inside half only) or forces one to sit so far forward that now your own body weight becomes the greatest challenge and that varies with how you balance you weight during the lift. I completely hate the seat, there is nothing good about the seat, even the foam is the same junk as in the legs pads.- The adjustability, while this machine has many positions (fore and aft, as well up and down, for the leg pad part). The pre-drilled holes are bizarrely placed. Even the rear most hole is WAY too far forward and puts the pads on your knees which is very painful. Should you slide forward on the seat enough that the legs pads are now positioned correctly on the quads just behind the knees, now your body weight is a variable factor in the lift resistance AND the acute angle of your legs to have the back-half of your feet off the foot bar limits range-of-motion. Sooooo... my fix to this was to ignore the pre-drilled hole and just adjust the knee bar to where it should be (much closer to seat) so that my legs are closer to a 90 degree bend for full range-of-motion AND so that the leg pads are positioned correctly on top of my quads. Fortunately, this machine allows you to slide anywhere on the bar and just twist the lock part tight and that secures it into place just as solidly. This feature is a big reason I didn't give this machine a lower score.- Lastly, the foot bar. This is uncomfortable if using unless shoes are being worn. The rounding of the edge is barely there and this causes an edge that significantly hurts the bottom of the feet when in the heels-down position. I work-out in barefeet as it my home gym and I vacuum it daily so it is super clean. If wearing shoes however, this bar is not an issue.- Related to the foot bar though... it is positioned too far back, again, to try and keep the leg angle closer to 90 degrees this bar should be mounted right up, tight to the support lever. This would gain about 2.5", combined with the leg pad mounted back further and it perfectly positions the legs for maximum range-of-motion during lifts. For reference, I am 180cm (5'11") and this machine could certainly work for taller people as well. I also do almost all exercises unilaterally, included calf-raises, and I find this machine with the bearing pivot smooth with minimal play or twist.I have spent many years trying different ones at various fitness stores and gyms. This design is by far the best, easiest to use, and only uses a small bit of space. That is why I give it a 4-star despite all of the things that I dislike with the actual build. The steel used is plenty strong and solid. I likely will make some modifications (don't care about warranty, it's steel so if used properly is won't have any issues) and turn this into a 5-star machine. I'll probably change out the foot pad for a more rounded edge one and mount it right against the support lever. And this seat is going to be the first thing to go. I'll just order a replacement bench seat for a seated press machine and use a seat that is actually comfortable and proper shape. As for the legs pads, I already unscrewed the provided pads and have mounted two 3" foam yoga blocks in place. This is so comfortable.Despite the issues, I would buy this again and I recommend it (if you are willing to do some simple mods). I understand this sint the most popular of work-out machines, but I don't understand why they are so poorly designed. This is the closest to best that I could find so for that reason I enjoy it and would buy again.

Was very pleased with this calf raise. I am limited on space and it fit perfectly into my home gym. The quality is worth the money. I am 6'3 and 240 and have no problem what so ever getting under the knee pads. It has a slight wobble but is predominantly sturdy.

The welds on the post supporting the seat(where it meets the base) just broke. Very lightly used and this happened already. Hopefully they will replace quickly.

Just a bit small I am 6'4 250lbs!The calf machine is very well constructed and sturdy, But not made for someone that is 6 foot or taller. I did not have to drill a hole but I may in the adjustments to be able to get my feet to fit under It easier, then I will have enough room perfectly! I had to purchase a Rubber jack pads that fits perfectly on the lever, and that gave me the room that was needed. If you are a taller person and do purchase this machine, purchase a rubber Jack pads here on Amazon, it will make the purchase worth your while.

For the price, you can't get anything better. It came by USPS and it's easy to assembly. My only complaint is that the height of the knee pads could be higher. If you have long legs, it would be difficult to put your knees under the knee pads, so you'll have to add some shims to where the bar rest to raise it a little bit.

I originally received this and somewhat disappointed as it was slightly too small for me. I had to drill another hole in it to make it work. It worked but it was tight.I posted a review on Amazon, and the company reached out to me saying they were sending a replacement part free of charge.I received the updated pieces and installed them and now the machine is perfect!Amazing customer service, I was blown away by this!

It works! Very sturdy, looks good, well made and easy set-up. The adjustment thigh pad just fits me and could have a few more notches for those with bigger thighs. I am very satisfied with the brand and product, I also bought the HVO seated leg extension & hamstring curls.

Save your money this is low quality. Also came damaged. No way to message the seller. Had to find a way to drive into town to ship back. My friend bought the same machine at the same time as me and both of us had to send it back. Weird odds. Now canada post is on strike so who knows when ill get my money back. Save yourself a headache and go to a brick and mortar store. The right quality would be much heavier and a better buy in person somewhere
