This is pretty cute and easy to assemble, but I have been scared using it as a step stool because it’s little and seems like I could break it, lol. I have liked using it for plates and plants, though!

Really good quality! Well packaged, no damage, and well made.I did not find any splinters or rough areas on the wood, and the staining was even and consistent. Overall the product seems very well made, which is nice for the look they are going for.This is a nice addition since it's not just a utilitarian step stool, but I won't put a lot of weight on it. Not that I am saying it definitely can't handle a little weight, I just don't feel comfortable since there is no reinforcement for the legs, and they are only held in with a threaded steel peg that screws into the top.We use it for our toddler. I'm sure it would hold if I stepped on it, I just don't like the idea of getting on it when I have sturdier looking step stools made of plastic or wood.This would also make a really nice plant stand as well.Looks great, would definitely recommend!

When I ordered this stool, the description stated it was a step stool for adults. However, it has since been updated to indicate that it is more suitable for kids, which is more accurate. The stool is small, measuring 9.25”D x 9.25W x 9.35H, and has a maximum weight capacity of 100 lbs. I weigh about 120 lbs and have used it several times as a step stool to reach high places in my kitchen without any issues. I am mindful of its weight limit when I stand on it, but it has never shown any signs of weakness or stability.Assembly was quick and easy, and took about one minute! I simply screwed in the four legs to the seat, attached the non-skid pads to the bottom of each leg, and that was it!The wood is absolutely beautiful and complements so much in my kitchen. It even has an oblong hole in the center for easy carry. I feel comfortable using it as a step stool for myself, but it's important to note that using it as an adult step stool is not its intended purpose. It could also be used as a plant stand.
