The first time I added any weight to try it out, the frame bent! It's no longer able to be used. I only put a 25 pound plate on each side, well within the weight limits of the bench. I'm very disappointed!

This hip thrust machine has been a worthwhile addition to my home gym setup. As a working parent in a small-town, with spring finally arriving and snow melting, I've been trying to maintain fitness while juggling office trips and work-from-home days. Initially, I was hesitant about its quality and performance, but after using it for about five days now, I can say it's been convenient - much better than my previous setup using a bench and barbell that always felt unstable. Yesterday, I squeezed in a quick workout while my teenagers were at school and my elderly parent was napping, and I liked how the adjustable footplate accommodated my height. The large backrest feels supportive but I've noticed some slight wobbling when using heavier weights. During my photography downtime between editing sessions on my laptop, I've been able to do quick 15-minute workouts without disrupting the household. For those with similar space constraints who want targeted lower body training, this machine offers good value, though I wish the assembly instructions were clearer - took me longer than expected to put together.
