Used this to replace the latch on the live well for our key west boat. The backplate was too deep so used the old one from the original. The latch looks great and functions like the original. I would buy again.

The back part that goes in the compartment part was a little thicker, but I was able to use the previous one I had to make it work. It is plastic so we will see how long it last for my anchor locker.

Every thing looked fine but the backing plate is too deep. Must be for very thin material. Not sure if longer screws or shaving down the backing plate will work
