These are great for little ones for learning their ABCs. Comes with 2 sets, upper case and lower case letters! Great to keep on the fridge (but may go missing after a few days lol). They hold up quite nicely!

We bought two sets of these so our child could make more words. We are super impressed with both the quality and the safety of these letter magnets. They are much safer than the plastic ones with the magnets that keep falling out and are excellent quality.

We were excited for this set but it arrived with 2 missing letters and 4 of the remaining letters broken or badly formed, with long, jagged splinters at the edges of the letters and/or in the middle of the letters where they had bent and broken. Not sure how this got through quality control or if the damage happened in transit but either way it raises concerns for the safety of this product for use by small children. This is a huge surprise since Hape products are usually such high quality. Buyer beware!

We love these! Great size, durable, and I love that they don't have tiny megnets just glued in like the plastic ones, seems much safer to me. They are the perfect size.

Great set to distract my 2year old in the kitchen. Great bright big letters. Love that it's both lower and upper case. Esp love that the magnet part is an entire layer rather than small circles stuck on (which could fall off and be swallowed). Specifically sought wooden letters out as we are trying to cut down on plastic and these def fit the bill.

The product has been great only complaint is that my pack was missing the lowercase "r". Wouldn't bother me if my kid didn't have 2 "r"s in his name.

Letras imantadas perfectas para la pizarra de la misma casa. Se echa en falta la repetición de letras para poder formar palabras; hemos tenido que comprar dos juegos para poder combinarlas!

The colours and quality of the letters are great. My toddlers love them. I like that the whole backing is a magnet and they're sturdy. I wish they made a numbers set just like this.

These are great quality wooden letters. The magnetic back fully covers the entire wooden letter. Very durable and cute! It doesn't come with the magnetic board, but that wasn't a deal breaker for me. Letters are painted on so you don't have to worry about any peeling like other wooden letters. Highly recommend these!

And I must say, it is of high quality too. We received this Hape Early Explorer - ABC Magnetic Letters Playset only yesterday, but I just have to get on here to write a review. My daughter (almost 3 years old) and I both love it! The letters are lightweight, colorful, and attractive. The magnets that FULLY line the back are strong; they stuck very well on our fridge.They are pretty sizeable. Lower case letters are approximately 1 3/4" tall (for e.g. "l" & "t"), and 1 3/8" tall (for e.g. "a" & "r") and 1 3/8" wide, Upper case letters are just slightly bigger at 1 7/8" and 1 1/2" wide.I wanted to find a useful play tool to help my daughter learn spelling and to reinforce letter recognition, and I can see this working very well for that purpose. These are very well-made, as with all other Hape toys we have purchased so far. The letters (both upper and lower case) have rounded corners and are nicely sanded and painted, so there is no worry of splintered wood or peeling/flaking paint. They even come with a handy cloth drawstring pouch (think Scrabble) to hold all the loose letters when not in use.I also bought the MindWare Imagination Patterns to go with this, instead of the Hape Early Explorer Anywhere Table Top Art Studio that is pictured with this product. It is large enough to use the alphabet set with, so I get a three-in-one with the MindWare toy, since it has a whole other set of activities by itself.Now, we can practise spelling on the fridge door while mummy's preparing dinner! For this purchase, I definitely feel that my time spent browsing and comparing had paid off.
