When one person in the house is warm and the other cold, this little fan is the perfect solution. No more changing the whole house temperature to suit one but not the other. If I’m too warm, I can use a mini-fan around my neck or on my desk to stay cool while my husband remains comfortable. And vice versa. Saving on heat or air conditioning is a bonus. Using the fan while cooking is also helpful. With settings that increase from 1 to 100, there is a wide range of cooling options. I charged to 100% and turned the fan to the highest level, 100, for about 5 minutes. The charge lowered just to 96%. The one thing that I didn’t understand at first was this statement online: “Simply press the ice-cooling button, and the fan instantly delivers chilled air…” I couldn’t find any such button. A slide switch turns the fan on and off, and a dial is used to increase air flow. I finally decided that this means you can place the large silver disc at the center of the fan, which gets quite cold, against your skin to safely cool off quickly. For example, pressing the disc on a hot face after a challenging run. This little fan works great and will get plenty of use in our home.

This fan is a little bigger and heavier than its counterparts, but it also runs longer with each charge. We used it for a week every day for 6-8 hours per day and it did cool down skin and reduced sweating in very hot temperature. Not sure what the ice cooling effect really mean. Once you turn it on, it works like any other fan and since the fan is strong, it blows and moves the air more strongly, giving you the indication it makes you cooler. Once you hang it from the neck, you can fold and direct it to your face or neck which is nice. Each battery charge lasts the entire day usage, continuously for 8-9 hours. We only turned it off during lunch time when we were in an air conditioned place, otherwise the fan stayed on during the morning and afternoon hours. When using it in a theme park, the surrounding noise is quite loud and you don't even notice the fan sound. Except the size, it did the job as expected

This portable fan is well designed, has great battery life, and the cooling mode is a nice bonus.For personal use, the fan is versatile, can be placed and angled in many ways, and is small and light enough to carry easily. It's easy to use, just flip on the switch to either fan or cooling mode, then spin the dial to change the levels.One of the reasons I got this fan was to help with my BBQ adventures. I often have to blow into the coals to shake the ash and get things glowing hot again. This fan provides the perfect amount of airflow for this task, I no longer have to breath smoke and ash, just turn on this fan and watch my fire become stronger than I could make it before.The display on the front of the fan shows you your settings and your battery level.I think this is a good value purchase.

I wondered how this could boast an “ice cool” setting, and was blown away by how simple it is and how it works. It contains no refrigerant, but achieves cooling through the Peltier effect by sending an electric current through a thermoelectric pair of semiconductor materials (one side gets cold while the other side gets hot), making it so the metallic plate in front gets cold fairly quickly. It takes a little more power in the Ice Cold mode, and while I notice a subtle difference in the coldness of the air, it makes a big difference just to press the cold plate in front against my face.This always defaults to the lowest speed, and the speed is a dial that goes all the way up to 100. It’s a little overkill, as even at 50, it’s strong enough to blow dry and style hair (at least, my front bangs), so it will be really useful on camping or swimming trips! I love that the battery has a high capacity, as that makes it more useful. While I can use it as a hair dryer, it isn’t as loud as a hair dryer, but it is louder than a small, battery powered fan usually is. It wouldn’t be noticeable at a concert, or even a restaurant, with ambient noise, but it would be noticeable at a meeting, for instance.I like that the fan head pivots up to 180 degrees on the axis, and will stay and hold its angle anywhere within that range, making it a good desk fan, too. The price seems really reasonable for what this does.

This is a strong fan with a very useful cold compress option.✔️Cold compress, ice cooler - The silver part in the middle front of the fan can get cold. It's what makes this different from a run of the mill hand held fan. Apparently it works on the Peltier effect which involves running current across semiconductors and drawing heat in specific direction, in this case, away from the surface. It works surprisingly well. It's about as cold as something just removed from a refrigerator or slightly less cold than an ice pack. I put it against the inside of my wrists or my palms to cool down. It is important to note that it is quite cold to the touch but it doesn't make the fan blow cold air.✔️Strong, adjustable fan - The fan is adjustable from level 1 to 99. Level 1 is about what I would expect as medium or high speed for a hand held fan. Level 99 moves way, way more air than I expected from a fan so small.✔️Easy to operate - There is one switch that allows you to turn on the fan by itself, or the fan and the cooler. On the other side it a wheel for adjusting the fan speed. There is a small screen below the fan that shows the battery percentage, the fan speed, and whether or not the cooler is on.✔️Type C - It uses a standard type c charger which is convenient. Only a cable is included though, not an adapter.✔️Bends - The fan portion bends so that you can point it at your face if you hang it from your neck or put it on a desk and aim it wherever needed.✔️Carry strap included⚠️Loud - It's not super quiet even at level 1. It's loud at higher levels. It's not an unusual sound. It just sounds like a bigger fan. Not a problem outside or in a lot of places you might want to use this, but it could bother others in a quiet room. Since you can't turn on the cooling without the fan, you can't use that feature in silence either.⚠️Cold compress can't be turned out without fan.This is a cool little fan with a great cooling feature.
