I give this hamster maze a 1 out of 5. The quality was low. The wooden walls are made from cheap wood that felt rough and the holes for the hamster to crawl through was very small. My hamster is 2 years old (human life span) and she got stuck because she was too big. She tired to turn around and go the other directions and so she folded herself in half to turn around but got stuck. Luckily, the clear top lid allows you to slide it off so I could rescue her. Perhaps if you have a small dwarf hamster it would be more suitable. I do not recommend this product for big hamsters.
