There is no relief valve so the respirator has to break the seal every time you exhale and also leads to lots of condensation from your breath.Would recommend buying one with a relief valve

Excellent face mask, does what it should, comfortable, good air sealing. The only issue is, I ordered reacement filters mid August 2024 and am still waiting for them October 30. I bought two of these masks and fear they will be useless now if I can't get replacement filters.

I'm not an all day mask wearer. I wear it while cutting or sanding wood (I mostly do lathe work). With that I have not had any issues or any resistance breathing in the mask. I have a full beard and this fits over it pretty well. I previously used some 3M and RZ mask masks and I like this one the best. It's pretty comfortable sometimes I forget I'm even wearing it if it's well underneath my full face mask and will accommodate glasses too

Este respirador brinda una excelente protección, efectivamente sella cualquier salida lateral de aire y sólo deja activos los filtros, por lo que uno queda bien protegido de partículas exteriores. En estos tiempos de pandemia es de verdadera utilidad. Ampliamente recomendado

I wear north style niosh masks all day. They are great. So i was really disappointed buy this mask.I could not breath wearing it .Its impossible to exhale properly witch makes every breath a challange. Its hard to breath.I got a refund . you will too.Save your self a phone call to customer service. Dont buy.

Compared to KN95 masks, Elipse provides very good seal and has no air leakage in the nose bridge area. It is quite easy to breath in. I even had to check whether it's leaking anywhere by blocking air filters with my hands and there was no leak - it was just easy to breath in this mask.Strap ends are quite unkempt and are getting in the view all the time if left as-is. GVS cuts them in their promotional materials, which is why they are not dangling in stock photos. I was able to tuck them around the side buckles in the X shape and they stay like this for hours, so I just need to repeat it once in a while.I usually wear this mask for short periods of time - about an hour at a time, but once I had to wear it for over 3 hours and those white knobs in the second picture that fasten the side buckles made visible imprints on my face that stayed quite red for some time. It would be hard for me to wear this mask the entire day because of those white parts.

I wish I spent a little more for the one with the exhalation valve. Other than that, it works great.Will Order the GVS SPM568 Valve diaphragms for Elipse Masks and Gas Filters, pack of 3 when in stock.

It does exactly what it's supposed to.Note that this has an exhalation valve cover. One of the negative reviewers seemed not to realize this. They also sell versions that have an uncovered exhalation valve, so it depends on whether you want to solely protect yourself (and breathe a little easier) or protect others (and breathe a little harder). Note, I have purchased both versions. I find it easy enough to breathe through, and it's very convenient. I would use the one with the uncovered exhalation valve if I were in a crowded outdoor area where most people are unmasked or if I had an overnight hospital stay.In my view, it runs about 5-10% smaller than N95s I've worn that are size "M/L". It fits, but I just wish it was slightly bigger at my nose bridge.

It's lightweight, comfortable and holds well even when I wear only the top strap. Most importantly, my glasses don't fog up.
