He created GH gate latch pull as a solution to his frustration of using strings or wires as a pull with the gravity latch or leaving the customers to have to reach over the gate on one side. GH Gate Products gate latch pull solves this problem while giving your gate a clean and finished look. You will "never reach over the gate again!"

Barely fits a 6" post, probably better suited to 4" posts. It's a plastic tube, a knob, and a string. For almost $50! This should be a $10 item.

We get so many compliments on this latch and it was so easy to install. What a great invention and I love that it is on a spring so automatically relatches. Highly recommended!

Easy to install and works well. Had to modify latch small amount as it is a heavy duty latch which has a larger piece where latch attaches

Excellent quality!! These latches are hard to find. We found on Amazon.ca but the price too high. We waited until the price decreased and purchased.

Works very well. Easy to install, but had to refer to excellent online installation video which was much more helpful than the instructions that came with the product. The delivered price I paid, including taxes in Canadian Funds was $51.94. Very expensive! Hopefully it will prove to be worth it over the long term.

This latch pull works incredibly well. You pull the little black button and the latch opens. You let go of the button and an internal spring returns the button to its normal resting position, flush against the gate post. I installed it last weekend and it has made getting into my yard so much easier. I previously had rigged up this thing with eye hooks and string and the string would get tangled in the latch sometimes and it was just a mess. This latch pull works perfectly. Follow the instructions for aligning the hole for the mechanism to the top of the gate latch and everything else is easy. You'll need a drill with a 5/8" bit and a hack saw to cut the threaded plastic sleeve to the right length for the thickness of your gate post. Unscrew the threaded sleeve from the rest of the mechanism when you cut the sleeve to length and that's about it. You will also need a pair of pliers to crimp the little sleeve that goes on the end of the wire. Very simple and effective device. Looks great and works perfectly.
