This is a wireless MOPAR module. Highly recommend you purchase this and if you purchase alphaOBD for your laptop and the SX cable off amazon , you can program this yourself at home. Best way to fix your RAM pickup with a failed ignition module if you have wireless locks and remote start.

Was able to get this thing set up in no time. Ordered this, and the ICar 4.0 OBD II scanner, as recommended by the JScan app. Scanner costs $30, to register your vehicle through JScan app is $20. Was able to swap ignition switches and reprogram my two old keys in 10 minutes. Saved hundreds of dollars on this.Note: this switch includes the plugin for remote start. If your vehicle does not have remote start, you can save a little more money going with a different ignition that doesn’t support remote start. However, this switch will work just fine if you don’t have remote start, you just won’t have a plug in for that port.

I got 2012 Ram 3500, Crew cab, Laramie, Remote Start.At first it did not want to program to my truck, tried few times and it would fail to program to the truck (or in other words transfer the secret key from PCM). But on my 4th or 5th time, (doing everything the same as I did in previous attempts) for some interesting reason it finally programmed (transferred the secret key from PCM). Heard that it happens because not updated or patch file needed in Alfa OBD, but I tried OBD Jscan and same result, and after all I did not update anything or get a patch.After programing tried programming the old keys but it did not worked, even though it should have when the secret key is transferred to the Win module. Got a little worried that the WIN is not compatible with my truck and that's why it didn't want to program at first. But gave it another try with new keys and it WORKED.After all it is very good OEM product for a third of a dealers price. Yes it took a while to get to Canada from USA but it is worth waiting.
