Gamboa is a legit company. My girlfriend is from Ecuador and confirmed the brand. Gamboa is known for mid-range quality. High end quality Panama hats can be a few thousand (American) dollars in Ecuador. I received this hat and it arrived nearly perfect. It is very light and pliable as it should be. I am a picky person so I am going to steam up the brim and fine tune it to my specs. If you want a "real" Panama hat at a decent price, than go for it. Locally hat shops have nicer ones at the $250.00 + range. I didn't want to spend that much.

La calidad del material corresponde con el precio, soy talla 59 por lo que tendré que ajustar el talla 60 que me va grande, enviaron color equivocado (beige)
