We've had these for a month and 8 of them are in use for receipts, taxes, school work, letters, etc.They're thick and sturdy, onlybrecomment buying hangers for them to fit in a filing cabinet if that's your planned use.As far as for school, these alone will probably get you through college or your kids through middle/high school.The colors are very 80's, which I actually like. For less than 50 cents a folder, you can't beat the price.

I love the cute pastel colors of these file folders. They make things cheerful and bright in my office! The only thing I wish were different is that all the folders of the same color have the tab in the same place. And I’d love it if each color had the three different tab placements so I could use them for the same project but be able to still organize them in my file cabinet using the staggered tabs.

If you're sick and bored of those regular light yellow file folders like me these are just what you need! I'm loving the nice assortment of colors. Each color has the tab at a different place along the edge so they're great for organization and easy to read. The paper material has just the right thickness and stiffness that they keep in place.

Organizing finally, but the folders ordered for the file cabinet were not exactly as expected. The colors were a little paler than pictured, but the tabs were larger and could accommodate laser labels that I want to print out. The rate features did not get full stars: as for sturdiness, they were not as thick and sturdy as anticipated, but will do for filing, just can't put as much in them so they won't tear after minimal wear; and for value for the money, they came in a pack of 48, which is pretty good, but I felt that not being perfect, they did not have the value intended...but not bad. One thing that holds it's value was the fact that they are FSC certified; that is the Forest Stewardship Council certification for ethical production. Overall, the set is not what I anticipated, but I can make them work...sorry, can't do the full stars this time.
