How to Use:
1. Open the battery back cover and install two AAA batteries (not included). Press the power button and a normal display will appear on the test screen.
2. Insert the probe vertically into the soil about 2/3 of the way in, do not shake, make sure the probe is in full contact with the soil.
3. Press the test button, the value will start flashing, wait for it to stabilize and read the value.
4. Wipe the probe clean after use and place it in a dry environment
Warm Tips:
Using this product in sand will result in inaccurate measurements
Rocks or too hard soil may damage the probe
Do not leave the soil tester in the soil for too long
Do not use it to test water or other liquids, it is designed for testing soil

I have heat pumps and they suck the moisture out of the air, so growing anything in the winter here often ends in me over or underwatering my grows. I tested this and it seems quite accurate. I'm not a fan of the screw holding in the batteries as it's tiny and hard to remove (and easy to lose) but I doubt I'll even use that in future. I didn't realize though that this is not intended to be left in the soil, it's for testing only which is sad. It's handy that it reads humidity and temperature, which will help with keeping my plants at the correct temp and humidity. I do find the numbers very small to read, but I can see why as there's a lot of information on the display. Overall, happy with it and hope my plants do well this winter (for a change).
