This lamp is exactly as described and fits into my small space exactly as I hoped it would. It’s well made and goes together easily. However, the lampshade was wrinkled at the top due to being damaged during shipment. Instead of returning the lamp, I put a headband around the top of the lampshade to cover the wrinkles, and it works great. It added just a bit more style too!

This was a great solution for a difficult problem. Like many apartments, my bedroom has one outlet that is attached to the light switch. It's unfortunate that the architects and builders decided that outlet should be immediately to the left of my opened door. In other words, you will trip over whatever light fixture you choose for that light switch. For months I used a smaller lamp on a semi-circle table. I didn't smack into it, but the lamp was too low so I could see the entire top of the lamp. I was blinded by the light every time I turned on the switch. I needed something that was slim enough to sit by the door but wouldn't be a hazard, and tall enough that I couldn't see the top of the lamp/bulb.This item solved all those issues. Tall enough that I can't see the bulb and skinny enough that it fits comfortably between my door and the semi-circle table. It's perfect for open, exposed for very slim spaces. NOTE if you are using an outlet with a switch: the lamp comes with 3 color settings. The setting changes every time I use the switch, so if I want a specific setting (bright in the morning, yellow toned in the evening), then I have to turn the switch on and off a couple of times so it can rotate to the setting I'need.
