I have a load of plants and I have one huge planter that I want to place on this plant caddy so I can move it easier. My planter is just 2" too wide so I will have to make a couple of adjustments before I can use it for that one but I did try out one of my plants and it was so easy to move it around when I painted the ceilings last week. The planters are made of metal with a flat black paint. The castors are also well made with each plant caddy having 2 locking wheels and well as 3 normal wheels. Screwing in the castors was easy peasy as a wrench is provided to tighten the castors. The 'belly' of the plant caddy can also act as a water well so no more water dripping on to the floor! As I have been wanting to make plant caddies and have all the material, it's finding that little bit of time that I really don't have right now so these plant caddies are a very welcomed addition to my plant garden in my home lol

If there is one word to describe these plant caddies, it’s “beefy”!The trays are solid, black-painted metal with nuts welded securely to the underside for the wheels to screw into. I got the ones that are 16” in diameter, and each tray has 5 wheels with 2 of them being lockable to prevent the tray from rolling on its own. When assembling, make sure to put the lockable wheels on opposite sides for the best stability, although you may have to tinker with that depending on their placement.Included with these caddies is a thin wrench to tighten the wheels down with. At first, it just looks like a toss-away, but you’ll likely want to hang onto it as I found I didn’t have a thin enough wrench myself and had to resort to using the included one. There isn’t a lot of space between the nut you need to tighten and the adjacent one it’s screwing into, so the included wrench is actually a welcome addition. In use, these are able to handle a lot of weight. I’m using these with some heavy 60+ lb planters, which don’t come close to the 400lb weight limit these support, but needless to say, they hold them with no issues at all.The locking mechanism on the wheels is just a simple up/down lever, which is very easy to engage/disengage. The wheels themselves are a rather hard plastic/rubber material whose grip varies a bit depending on the surface it is placed on. I probably would have preferred a more grippy rubber material on the wheels instead. Also, flat/even ground helps to make sure that the locking wheels are always making good contact. We use these stands out on our stamped concrete patio, which is a little uneven, and I did have to rotate and make some adjustments to the wheel orientation to prevent the dollies from shifting a bit on their own with wind, etc.Overall, this is a pretty well-made product. The wheel placement may have to be tinkered with a bit, and these might not be the best choice for a very uneven surface, but aside from that, they are sturdy and serve their purpose well.

These plant caddies are a DREAM. Made of metal, they are sturdy, look sleek and I expect it to last for a number of years. The wheels simply glide on surfaces, and it is so handy to have 2 locking wheels for each caddy. The set-up of these was easy - simply screw in the wheels (5 per) and no tools required (although wrench provided). I've placed 10-gallon garden grow bags on my caddies, and the bags fit perfectly. This is a garden game changer for me!!

Very solid, well built, plant caddy. It looks and feels professional grade. The wheels are perfect for inside (quiet) or outside (tough). Easy to assemble. Just tighten the bolt on each wheel. If you use the bottom lip of the caster, it will turn the bolt so you don't have to use the supplied wrench until the final tightening. These were put into use within 5 minutes of arrival- so handy and easy to move. Each one has a caster that has a brake so it won't roll around. Great items.

I ordered 2-pack of 16” diameter plant caddies. Each one is rated for a maximum capacity of 400 pounds/ 180 kilograms. You’ll note when you see them that they are well designed to handle all of this weight because the metal is thick and then ridged for increased strength. The locking mechanisms on the wheels are more robust than what I had expected and your plant isn’t going to go anywhere if you don’t want it to. Having 5 casters compared to 4 is substantially superior for stability. The finish is very nice on them, too.(Note that the vendor has interchanged pounds and kilograms on their guide for selecting the correct size of caddy.)
