These are great clips. They are very sturdy. They come with rivets, or you could screw them in. They are made to use with bimini tops and I'm certain that they would be great for that purpose. I used them to secure my emergency paddles on my bass boat and they are phenomenal. The rivets hold them securely to the bottom of my storage compartment hatch and battery/fuel compartment hatch. Of course you will need a rivet tool if you want to use the rivets, but they would screw down to whatever you want to attach them to if that is how you attach them. They only have a single hole for attaching, so could spin if not attached to a right sized square rail as in a bimini, but in my case they are rock solid and won't spin and, with the paddles in place they wouldn't spin even if they were loose, which they aren't. I'm very impressed with these clips. They are just flexible enough to get whatever they are holding in, and then hold them very well. Make sure you take note of the size of the opening to make sure they will work for you. Very impressed with the quality of these.
