Shows up as a 4k@60Hz display, and makes remote desktop to Mac Mini server immensely more usable. This dummy plug forces the GPU to be active and makes remote desktop to a Mac server without any attached display a lot smoother.I've also tested on PC with dual Intel/nVidia graphics set to mirror the screen so remote play will always use the nVidia GPU even when the display is asleep.

I use these to setup remote access computers. Without them the computer only displays 640x480. Yeah it's almost useless. Pop in one of these and you've got 4k resolution all the time.I love products that work well and don't cost a lot.

These adapters work great, they allow you to wirelessly connect anything with an HDMI port to another device like a TV or external monitor. They work great and don't require any drivers. I highly recommend these

I'm in the process of opening a tech-centric business and accessories like these are essential to our operations. We have over a dozen PCs that we need to log-in to regularly and wouldn't be able to without these dummy plugs or expensive monitors for each one. These are not only a lot cheaper than individual monitors but take up significantly less space. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend picking them up, especially considering the reasonable cost.

If you run remote virtual desktop sessions to your headless computers, the Duttek HDMI Headless Adapter is a great way to maintain a consistent resolution. With no physical display attached, your remote session ends up at a minimal default resolution. Attach the Duttek dummy plugs, and your computer will detect the resolution and Edid data set by the plug.It's also handy if you're distributing video to multiple sources.
