The wrong part was sent. Delta sent me two more solenoids, each time saying their previous agent had sent the wrong part. When the third replacement part didn’t work the agent told me Delta no longer makes a replacement solenoid for my 2018 faucet. I finally figured out how to fix the original solenoid and it is working again.

Purchased for a Delta 980T-SSSD-DST touch faucet. I've been using this solenoid for about 2 months now and it's been working fine. My one complaint is that originally I could touch either the neck of the faucet or the handle to turn the faucet on and off. This replacement only has one wire instead of two, so now I can only turn the faucet on and off by touching the neck of the faucet.

I bought this as a replacement for my almost new (less than 1 year old) Delta Touchless solenoid, which didn't work.This replacement also doesn't work. If you have problems with Delta Touchless Facets, I'd suggest not wasting more of your money on this replacement. It's a great idea in theory, but the "touchless technology" just doesn't seen to work.
