Extremely well made and perfect fit for my 11lb dog to ride on the center console. I installed it backwards so that her tail, which is always wagging, could fit out of the open, unzipped end.

I wouldn’t necessarily call this a “booster” seat because if it is fastened to a proper seat there is no elevation. If however fastened to the front middle console there is a natural boost from the console itself. The other problem is that is fastened to a seat, it only attaches over the head rest and there is nothing anchoring the bottom, really. The fabric and the soft flannel is nice enough; however, the structural integrity is an issue. The seat itself leaned and as much as I tried it would not straighten out. The harness strap is so short that it barely gives enough slack so my pup can sit up straight. Finally, the seat is so narrow that she can’t even put her head down and is made to sit up straight or stand, which made her incredibly stressed as well as myself.

Our little guy loves this seat. Probably good for up to 10 maybe 12lbs max. He’s roughly 4lbs right now. It fits my blazer perfect. In the Silverado the straps are too small but I am able to tuck the carry handles under the top and close it shut to hold secure. The anti slip bottom is good too. The teather is a touch long and wish it was adjustable but works fine. He’s so cozy in it while traveling he doesn’t bother trying to jump out.

We have a 7 pound chihuahua and I got her this seat so she could ride in it over the middle arm rest in the front of out Toyota Highlander. We drive from our home in Texas to our camp up on the Canadian border every summer and we originally had 5 dogs but over the past two years they have passed away from old age and cancer and our chihuahua Annie is the only one left and she is 14…she was the youngest. They all used to ride in the back in secured dog beds with their blankets and toys but she will not ride there alone now. The seat worked well for us. The Velcro straps at the bottom went around the lifting lid of the center console and secured the bottom of the bed quite well. The other straps off of the end wrapped down I to the back and I was able to buckle them around the base of the console where it met the floor. The seat was very secure but the sides are a bit floppy as she would lean against them they would fold over a bit but not enough for her to fall out plus my husband and I were seated on each side of her. I am please with the seat. It fit her with not much room to spare which worked well I think she felt like she was being held which is her favorite thing.
